Taurus just announced the latest addition to the company’s popular TX22 line of semi-auto rimfires. The new Taurus TX22 Compact puts 13+1 rounds of .22 LR into a highly packable, shootable little platform.

Since Taurus first introduced the TX22, a few years have passed. The handgun was well-made, reasonably priced, and enjoyable to fire. The TX22 Competition was the next step the business took. Once more, people praised Taurus for its meticulous design and revived interest in rimfire. Now Taurus succeeds once again with a little version that can serve as a trainer, defender, plinker, and more.

People with lower hand sizes should find the design to be appealing. That also serves as a good beginner’s trainer in most cases. The small.22 however still offers a ton of usefulness and adaptability.

You now have a lot of firepowers as well after adding the staggered 13-round magazine. Holosun K is compatible with a slide-mounted mini-red dot sight attachment.

Now that you’ve added the 13-round staggered magazine, you also have a lot of firepower. The Holosun K footprint accommodates a slide-mounted mini-red dot sight mount, so carry optics are also an option.

Surprisingly, the little compact handgun has a threaded barrel that is also suppressor-ready. The same common sights used on the Taurus GX4 line of handguns serve a dual purpose here. Taurus further asserts that the TX22 has a reliable trigger mechanism. According to Taurus, it purportedly breaks cleanly with no stacking.
